Where were you born? I was born and raised in Greenfield, Massachusetts which is about two hours from Boston.
Tell us how you came to ABI Insurance and how long you have worked here. I came to ABI after working for an insurance company in downtown Portland. I’ve been here for a year and a half.
Describe your role at ABI Insurance. As part of the ABI Community Association Team, I compile necessary documentation and process renewal applications. I respond to inquiries from board members and property managers, and ensure renewals are completed.
What is your favorite food? Sushi
Do you have any pets? If so, tell us about them. I have an orange cat, Marvin, who I relocated to Oregon from our prior residence in Florida. He is a big foodie, also known as “Starvin’ Marvin.” He finds the snow fascinating and loves to roll around in it.
Have you ever traveled abroad? Yes, I briefly lived in Thailand. I also lived on a ship and sailed around the world. During that time, I visited Mexico, Japan, China, Vietnam, Myanmar, India, South Africa, Ghana, Morocco, and Germany. I’ve also been to England, France, Ireland, Scotland, Iceland and Canada.
What was your first job? I was a front desk agent for a Hilton hotel.
Are you a morning person or a night owl? I consider myself to be both but ultimately, I have and always will be a night owl.
What do you like to do on weekends? Every chance I get, I enjoy going to the river to swim, paddle board, or paint. I also make day trips to the coast or go for a hike. A few of my favorite things include browsing in thrift stores, going to concerts, or picnicking in a park with friends. I’m always discovering new places.
What is something people would be surprised to know about you? I once shaved my head and donated my hair to Locks of Love.
