John A. Hisatomi

John Hisatomi was one of the three founders of ABI Insurance John along with two other personal lines professionals founded American Benefits in 1976 which eventually incorporated in 1986. John is a CLU and a past member of the Oregon Estate Planning Council. John has served on many community boards which include the Portland Japanese Gardens, The Multnomah Athletic Club (Treasurer 2005), and as Prime Minister of the Royal Rosarians in 2004. John holds degrees in Civil Engineering (Oregon State University) and a Master’s in Business Administration (Southern Illinois University). John served in the U.S. Air Force as a pilot during Vietnam. At American Benefits, John serves on the Board of Directors and consults in sales and marketing. John loves golfing and biking.
