Tell us how you came to ABI Insurance. About two years ago, Fox Agency merged with ABI Insurance. I am now part of the ABI Insurance family.
How long have you worked at ABI Insurance? Two years.
How long have you worked in the insurance industry? I have worked in the industry for over 25 years.
Where is your favorite vacation spot? Why is it your favorite? The Hawaiian Island of Kauai is my favorite spot. It is warm, peaceful, and beautiful.
Outside of your favorite vacation spot, where is your happy place? Driving my convertible, especially when the weather is sunny.
What is one of the most important lessons you have learned in life? To be patient.
What is your favorite food? Italian food is my favorite. My coworkers know when it’s my turn to pick a lunch spot, I usually pick an Italian restaurant. Shrimp and salmon are also high on my list.
What is something people would be surprised to know about you? I know karate and I ride dirt bikes. The Alvord Desert, Madras, and areas in the Tillamook Burn are places I like to ride.
What is the last movie you saw? “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”
What was the last book you read? I read anything and everything about Nikola Tesla. Two of my most recent reads about him include “Lightning Strikes” by John F. Wasik and “Nikola Tesla” by United Library.
What is your biggest accomplishment? For seven years I owned my own home décor gift store. My sister and I were business partners. It was a lot of work, but so much fun. Even now I love to decorate my office for all holidays, including the smaller ones.
