Where were you born? I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon.
Tell us how you came to ABI Insurance. Before joining ABI Insurance, I had been working remotely from home since 2020. After several years of remote work, I was ready for a change of environment.
I’m excited to be part of the personal lines team and the agency. The office promotes a positive atmosphere where everyone supports each other and works together as a team!
How long have you worked at ABI Insurance, and what is your role at the company? I am a personal lines insurance specialist and was hired in April 2025.
How long have you worked in the insurance industry?
I began my insurance career in 2011 as a receptionist and have grown through a variety of roles that have shaped my experience and industry knowledge. I’m truly grateful for the path my career has taken.
I appreciate working for a local, family-owned agency that prioritizes a strong team culture and places meaningful focus on its employees, clients, and the community it serves.
What is something people would be surprised to know about you? In 2020, my husband’s job took us to Arkansas! We packed our home, loaded our two cats and two dogs, and made the trek across country. We moved back in 2021!
What shows are you streaming these days? I am currently watching “Palm Royal” on Apple TV. I am also rewatching “Dead to Me” and “Bridgerton” on Netflix. We enjoy a variety of shows from “Family Feud” and “Jeopardy” to “Yellowstone” and “Dateline.”
Tell us about your family. I was raised in Tigard and grew up in a big family. Our house was often loud and a little chaotic, but it was always fun and filled with love — there was truly never a dull moment.
I married my husband, Paul, in 2018, and we have a daughter, Ocean, who is currently
attending Oregon State University. Over the years, we spent countless weekends in the bleachers cheering her on at basketball games. These days, we enjoy spending our downtime working on home projects, gardening, and heading out to movies and local restaurants. I especially love hosting friends and bringing together our large, blended
family.
What is your favorite food? I enjoy many types of seafood and love pasta! And of course, a sweet dessert!
When you go to a coffee shop, what do you order? I am a huge coffee lover! My go-to orders range from simple espresso shots over ice to a peppermint mocha any time of year. Our daughter worked as a barista and taught us how to create fun, specialty coffee drinks at home, which has made my love for coffee even stronger.
I also enjoy collecting coffee mugs — from seasonal and holiday designs to cups with fun or cute quotes. And yes, I even have a collection of insurance-themed mugs!
What is your biggest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment has been watching my daughter grow into an incredible young adult. Every day, I’m in awe of her kindness and the genuine empathy she shows toward others. She has worked tirelessly to achieve her goals, graduating as valedictorian, serving as a class officer, and leading her basketball team as team captain.
Now, as she prepares to pursue her dream of studying nursing, I couldn’t be more proud or excited for what lies ahead. With her compassion, determination, and heart for helping others, I can’t wait to see the difference she will make in the lives of so many. Her future is bright, and I feel so blessed to watch it unfold.
