I came to ABI from Allstate. An employee of ABI referred me to Jim.

I just celebrated my fourth anniversary with ABI.
How long have you worked in the insurance industry? Almost eight years.
What are your hobbies? I love to garden and then preserve my harvest by canning. I like to try new recipes and create tasty new treats. I love to cook for people who love to eat. Hunting wild game is a lifestyle for me and my family. We love the accomplishment of providing the best and most natural meat source for ourselves. The comradery with family and friends is a highlight each season. When the work is done, we play board games and cards. We create lots of fun memories with massive amounts of laughter.
What was the last concert you attended? My last concert was a highlight for me. I was able to go with my family and best friend to see King George in Seattle! For those of you who don’t know King George, he is the one and only George Strait! I think he is an amazing artist and person.
Chris Stapleton was also a part of the concert, and he was equally important to me. I read his story last November at the Country Music Hall of Fame when I visited Nashville. I was so delighted to be at this performance.
Where is your favorite vacation spot? Why is it your favorite? This is a tough question. I love being anywhere with my husband or my family. I have four adult children and I really love going anywhere with them. If I must pick a favorite place, it will be a lake. It doesn’t matter which one. I just love being on the water. I love to fish, float and be in the sunshine. My children grew up with us fishing and boating so they love it as well.
What is your favorite memory as a kid? I have a lot of wonderful memories from my childhood. I have to say one of my favorite memories is cooking with my grandmother. She would bring a chair into the kitchen and teach me how to make Swedish pancakes, breads, and sweet treats. She was always so patient with me and made me feel valued. We also sewed together. I still have her push pedal sewing machine that I used when she taught me how to sew.
What is your biggest accomplishment? My biggest accomplishment is my family. I have worked very hard to be sure they were provided for; raising them with firm values as well as lots of laughter. I know they know how much they are loved. I am so proud of the adults they have become. I know this sounds corny, but they have always been my priority and I have always sacrificed for them. It has paid off to see such wonderful humans I call my own.
