Where were you born? I was born on a U.S. Air Force Base in Oklahoma. My dad served as a pilot during the Vietnam War.
How long have you worked at ABI Insurance? I started working at ABI in May of 1999. This was also my first day in the insurance industry.
Tell us how you came to ABI Insurance. I was not seeking to get into the insurance business — that seems to be a common theme in the industry. My father and his partners owned the agency and wanted a succession plan, so they approached me a few times. Finally, I made the leap of faith. It was a great decision.

What are your hobbies? I love golfing, fly fishing, and upland bird hunting.
Where are your favorite vacation spots? I love to spend time in Hawaii and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Tell us about your family. My wife Molly and I have two boys, Mack (26) and Jack (23). Mack is studying to be an EMT and Jack started a film production company with his friend in Los Angeles.
What is your favorite food? Pizza. And yes, pineapple can exist on pizza.
What was the last book you read? I just re-read the entire “Dune” series by Frank Herbert.

What was a great concert you attended? This summer Molly and I went to the Foo Fighters concert at Providence Park. It was epic.
What is an important life lesson you’ve learned? I’ve learned to try to live my life by drawing a large circle of family and friends and doing everything possible to help them.
