James J. Hisatomi

Jim Hisatomi was raised in Portland, Oregon and grew up in the SE Eastmoreland neighborhood. He graduated from Lincoln High School where he met his wife Molly and went on to receive a B.S. in Finance and Real Estate at the University of Oregon. Jim spent the next 10 years learning and excelling in many different industries starting in Industrial Electrical Equipment for Platt Electric Supply, telecommunications with EnvoyGlobal, and then on to CRM software with Clientele Software (now Epicor Software). In 1999 he decided to join his father, John, in the insurance industry at ABI Insurance. Jim started out selling home, auto, and life insurance for the company.
Over the years he has sold almost every product the company provides. Jim mainly focuses on Life Insurance, Business Development, and Operations but tries to keep sharp in all of ABI’s product lines.
Jim, John, and retired partner Bob Waggener have built the agency with a few key objectives: 1) Focus on the customer, 2) Find the best products, and 3) Hire great people to deliver exceptional service. In the summer you can find Jim fishing on the Metolius River or on the golf course with his two boys or at soccer and lacrosse games.
